Pinnacle Peak

We had such a fun dinner with Grandma and Grandpa Coniglio. Joseph went to Pinnacle Peak for the first time and forgot to take his tie off in the car. I think he might have been the youngest "city slicker" to come through those doors. The restaurant was full so everyone got to see his tie be cut off and ooooo'd and aaaaaaa'd at how cute he looked. He didn't even cry when the lady came with the scissors ringing the bell. Our little guy is getting big so fast it's hard to keep up.

Beep Beep! Play date

Joseph and Cameron had their first real play date and oh my was it fun and cute. We have great pictures to show their first girlfriends.....in 20 years! :) Cameron's mom Lauren and I went to Jr. High together and were so excited when we found out that we were going to have BOYS 3 months apart. After the boys took their nap they raced around in their cars.

Roll Over!

Yup he did it! March 24, 2009

Solo Sleeper

It's official, as of March 19th Joseph has been sleeping in his own room. At first it was really hard for me to not have him in arms reach but Adam assured me that I would see him in the morning :) Joseph loves his room and enjoys playing his crib and staring at his mobile. We bought those anti-theft monitors, you know the ones that beep when you take the baby out or if he was to stop breathing. He moved off the sensor pad one morning and it started beeping and I don't ever think I had moved so fast. I ran in there to find him perfectly fine and partially woken by the beeping. Needless to say I turned the sensitivity down a little. Did I mention that he sleeps ALL through the night (well, that started around 2 months...not to brag or anything).

Life with a baby

Joseph Scott Coniglio was born on November 6, 2008 and changed our lives forever! He's been such a happy baby since the day he came into the world. I mean, of course he's had his moments but when he smiles he just melts your heart! We are so blessed to have him and couldn't picture our day to day life without him.

I have been back to work since January and unfortunately Adam was laid off at the end of October 08. On the upside, he is able to take care of Joseph. I have my days when I'd rather be at home of course but am so grateful that my job has not been effected by the slump in the economy. I get to work as early as I can so I can rush home to see my guys (usually waiting at the door for me).

The main thing that I had to adjust to when I first became a parent, was time management. I was late before and now I'm super late :) If I get Joseph in his car seat he'll spit up or I hear a rumble in his pants and have to take him out and change him. Another thing is always having the diaper bag stocked up; blankets, socks, onsies, sleepers, wipes, diapers, cream and if you are pumping like me.....can't leave home without your pump. So lets see that's a diaper bag, my pump, my purse and Joseph. That's a lot! WOW! Never looked at it that way, but it's worth the 5 trips to and from the car and the 15 minutes it takes me to get out the door.
